i don't know if anyone has been following this particular australian news regarding dennis ferguson, a pedophile who served 14 years in jail in queensland after being convicted for abduction and sexually assualting 3 young kids.
anyway this guy got released after his full jail term and to some extent i feel pretty sad for him. whenever i read the news, often, i get to read articles of him getting ousted by communities because they think he's a threat to the vulnerables. i mean okay i understand your worries but hey come on criminals can also turn over a new leaf alright. and you guys keep chasing him out of places where he's entitled to live in, isn't it kinda horrible? yea he did something pretty bad and there's a possibility of him commiting the same stupid darn mistake again. but at the very least, give him a chance to live again man. he's a human and he's kinda old already for goddamn sake. if you guys are gonna despise him whenever he goes, the court might as well give him a death sentence in the first place, but you know australia doesn't carry out capital punishment.
whatever it is, give him a chance. how will you feel if your family members get discriminated just cause they served a jail term before? i know he's a pedophile but thats not justifiable enough for you guys to segregate him from the communities, what about murderers? and now the media posted a photo of him on the papers and said that it's disgusting. the media is sick itself. anyway you can read the news here. i reckon the australian government should do more to help the ex convict.

life's pretty good so far. am hoping to move all my stuffs from the old house to the new house by this week and thereafter organise a house warming party if possible. had my car already! and its so bloody exciting to drive to ikea yesterday to get my furnitures. i have always wanted to go there with my boyfriend or husband!!! my direction expert was beside me all along while the direction idiot concentrated on driving, with both of us singing our lungs out to awesome songs played on the ipod :)
anyway the other day i was driving my sister to the shopping mall when she asked "could you believe you have a car under your own name?" then she started telling me about how great our family is and how awesome my daddy is. seriously, my dad is beyond awesome. when we called and said we found a new house, he was like okay and he gave us money. then when i rang him up and told him about the home-school distance and that having a car is way better than spending money on train rides, he was like okay and take care of yourself. i mean come on, my dad didn't even reject us at all when we told him what we wanted. to think when i was young i wished i was born in another family, thats sucha terrible thinking.
now i just wanna stick with them forever and ever and ever. my greatest wish is that my dad will never ever turn old from now onwards so that my kids are able to spend so much time with their grandpa and discover how loving, kind and gentle their grandpa is :)
although disagreements and arguments are inevitable, i just wanna say that i'm so lucky to be in this family and i have the most awesome family ever.

finally, the one week break is here! i seriously need this break after that awful load of assignments.
latest updates. i'm gonna move out of my current apartment and move into this gorgeous townhouse residing in the suburb! you know i'd always choose the nice peaceful suburb over the city even if it takes me almost an hour to the city by tram. anyway back to the new house, pretty cool, two storeys, both my sister and i have our personal bathrooms in our bedrooms! though it isn't that near to school anymore, but daddy promised to get me a car hopefully before the break's over. awesome. am driving quite often these two days, trying to brave myself for the almost always hazardous melbourne road. seriously i love driving.
next update, i'm currently seeing this korean guy for almost 6 months. he has got one of the nicest voice, and he dances hip hop pretty well. so you know when i get bored, i'd ask him to entertain me. he's a pretty awesome guy i reckon.
anyhow i can't wait for the electricity and other miscellaneous stuffs to start working then i can finally move into my room decorated with audrey hepburn posters, pink bedsheets, red roses, flower stickers, mesh curtains around the bed and whatsnot. so excited!!!
